Chart notes
RELIABLE LADY prompted outside of the leader and from the three path, gained control turning for home and drew off under a drive. GOING STEADY broke a step slow and was bumped by an inner foe at the start, raced off of the pace in the five path, tucked to the three path into the turn, fanned out to the six to seven path into upper stretch and ran on to edge place in the final furlong. GERLIN'S EMPIRE laid off of the pace in the two path, then ran on along the inside into the final furlong and narrowly reached show at the wire. HEY OLIVIA was reluctant to load, stalked close up along the inside, pursued in the two to three path into the lane, stayed on to vie for minor placings between rivals in the final furlong, but missed show between foes at the wire. PALM DESERT broke out and bumped and bothered outer rivals at the start, showed the way in the two path as the eventual winner pressed into the turn, got headed by that one turning for home, proved no match entering the lane, drifted out while pursuing in upper stretch, then weakened between horses while hanging on her left lead in the final furlong. FOIE GRAS broke a step slow and transferred firm contact from an inner foe to an outer rival at teh start, tracked from midpack in the four path, chased in the five path into the lane and faded between horses in upper stretch. GRIDLOCK was bumped by an inner foe into an outer rival at the start, chased two wide and between horses, moved to the inside reaching the lane and weakened.
