Chart notes
BOTE raced within striking distance, moved up on the inside down the backside, angled to the outside around the second turn and drove clear before the wire. MCZ pressed the pace, came around the final turn on the outside, was outfinished for the win, but proved best of others. BOLD EXCHANGE vied for the early lead, saved ground, took the lead around the second turn, weakened down the lane and proved no match for the top two late. WOLF MAN JACK raced in the middle of the field, came around the first turn on the outside, saved ground around the final turn, made a rail bid and was outfinished for third. TWO DOLLARS dueled on the front end and faded. DEELITESANDIMSUM lacked early speed and was never a factor. METAIRIE always raced near the back and showed little. GOLDEN CITY STREET lacked early speed and was never close.
