Chart notes
MATTHEW'S PATRIOT broke well, then pressed GOTTOMAKEITHAPPEN through the initial stages while traveling well, took command midway on the turn and quickly put some distance on the rest, then responded when set down at the top of the stretch and drew off with authority. PECKS NOT BAD tracked three-wide up close down the backstretch, tried to keep pace chasing MATTHEW'S PATRIOT through the turn but was unable to go with that one in the stretch, kept on well late to hold the place. OVERLOAD was pushed on a bit from the start to get forward position, settled mid-pack to the turn, was under a ride leaving the three-furlong pole, then under steady urging in the stretch, could not find another gear when needed, but moved up into third. VENTURE ON raced at the back of the main pack, came into the stretch behind horses, then shifted to the outside and was mildly gaining in the late stages. SPEEDY MOBILE was under steady coaxing to keep pace early, then made a mild middle move through the turn racing in the three-path, then flattened out in the stretch. MISTER MOBIL was away awkwardly, then slow into stride, and did not appear to handle the going. GOTTOMAKEITHAPPEN was sent to the front after breaking a step slow, dueled through the early stages wtih MATTHEW'S PATRIOT, then gave way before the three-furlong pole and faded to the back.
