Chart notes
ADIOS MATE sent for the early lead, set a pressured pace to the turn, shook free of AUTHENTIC HONOUR into the stretch, kept to task into the final furlong and held safely late over the oncoming runner-up. VALID SENSE prominent early on while between rivals, angled three wide into the turn, chased from the four path to upper stretch, closed willingly to the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner late and was a clear second. SHOW BOAT settled early, roused four to five wide to the stretch, closed well late, got up for third. AUTHENTIC HONOUR pressed the early pace outside of ADIOS MATE, chased to the furlong marker, repelled past mid-stretch, nailed for third. LIL BIT SIDEWAYS off a bit slowly to begin, coaxed three then two wide to the quarter marker, no final kick. AMAURY M. V. P. chased the early pace inside, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch, weakened in the late stages. LET LOOSE LOUIE broke a bit awkwardly, settled inside, tired stretch.
