Chart notes
SOUPER ICONIC settled into stride, advanced inside late up the backstretch, took closer order on the turn saving ground, bid inside in upper- to mid-stretch coming out a bit past the furlong marker, engaged a rival taking the lead from that foe about seventy yards out and prevailed. DOADSTER bobbled slightly at the start, advanced mildly inside into and on the turn, shifted six to seven wide turning for home, struck a narrow lead in upper stretch, was outfinished. GO JIMMY GO got away well, settled off the leading pair stalking from outside, came into upper stretch four to five wide, kept on to be best of the rest. MY BOY BRUCE settled well back near the inside but off the rail, came out in the stretch, finished willingly for the minor award. CHUNKY MONKEY was encouraged forward between foes early, pressed the pace from outside, lacked the needed late kick. FINAL RUN FOR LOVE was outpaced early, raced near the inside on the turn, passed tired rivals. DADDY SEND MONEY reared badly at the start, fanned eight wide turning for home and passed some foes. MISS D'S PRIDE was kept off the inside, failed to menace. FOURLEGSGOOD soon led, set a pressured pace, came out off the rail leaving the turn and soon gave way. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE START IT WAS DETERMINED ALL RUNNERS HAD A FAIR BEGINNING AND NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
