Chart notes
HE SHOOTS HE WINS was roused slightly to take command from the onset, rambled along well within himself loose up top increasing the advantage around the oval, was well in command when asked for more at the furlong marker and held comfortably while under mild urging in the late going. CUT'EM LOOSE had the rail position in the second flight, continued inside watching the frontrunner around the bend, stubbornly battled on the fence for the secondary spot with the winner well in command up front in mid-stretch and prevailed inside at the wire in a close finish. COMMANDER AT SEA had little early foot seeing the field at the start, started to pass rivals three wide at the three eighths pole, continued to steadily gain around foes on the turn to be in the mix in three path turning for home, battled determinedly outside for the runners up share down the lane but lost the nod outside at the wire. HAPPY QUAD stalked between horses down the backside, was relegated to the back end with three eighths remaining, saved ground but could no make any impact around the bend, angled out to be four wide at the top of the lane and ran on mildly to the finish to garner a minor placing in the end. COHERENCE tracked with rivals on either side down the backstretch, chased in vain with the winner getting away throughout the turn, fought between horses two wide in upper stretch for the place share but could not keep up to others late and wilted by the sixteenth pole. ADELAIDE COURT settled in midfield while outside in the five path down the backstretch, was getting out four to six wide around the turn and could not offer a finish, widest in the seven path for the stretch drive.
