Chart notes
CAPITOL HILL saved ground near the rear of the field, came under coaxing near the quarter pole and angled out six wide into upper stretch let out for the drive, closed well outside through the final furlong and was up in the final forty yards, then prevailed edging away at the end. FAVORABLE SCENARIO tracked the pace along the inside coming under encouragement at the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. CUANDO showed the way in hand just off the inside and then along the inside, got roused taking the inside route into upper stretch, edged clear to the eighth pole, dug in under threat and was caught forty yards from the finish. OHIO JOE broke out at the start bumping EXECUTIVE ORDER, chased three wide coming under urging at the five-sixteenths, went seven wide into upper stretch and kicked on belatedly to the wire. BRIT'S WIT chased just off the inside coming under a ride from the five-sixteenths, spun three wide into upper stretch, offered up late foot. BOSUN chased just off the inside and then along the inside under encouragement from the five-sixteenths, took the inside route into upper stretch, weakened. ROCKETEER three then two wide in pursuit, got coaxed along at the five-sixteenths, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the drive. SNOOKIE BEAR saved ground near the rear of the field, got ridden along with five-sixteenths to go, went six to seven wide at the head of the stretch, made no impact. EXECUTIVE ORDER got bumped at the start by OHIO JOE, who broke outwards, raced three wide through the first turn, chased three wide patiently handled until set down spinning four wide into upper stretch, then weakened through to the finish. TIGER TWENTY FOUR chased three then two wide coming under coaxing at the five-sixteenths, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, made no impact.
