Chart notes
BIG DRINKER unhurried in the beginning, racing in the rear, moved to the rail, made a steady gain, came around the final turn on the outside, rallied down the lane and pulled away. PAINTED LAD lacked early speed, saved ground around the final turn, angled to the outside, made a bid, proved no match for the winner, but got up for second. CLARESTOWN raced within striking distance, took the lead around the final turn, drove clear, but lacked a late kick. CONFUCIUS lacked early speed, came around the first turn on the outside, moved up, made a mild bid, but was no factor. MOR JAZZ challenged for the early lead, saved ground around the final turn and faded. PROWLING TIGER raced evenly near the back and was never a factor. TONTERIA raced within contention, dropped back and was no threat late. PITCH AND RUN dueled on the front end, was finished early and retreated. VODKA MARTINI raced within striking distance, dropped back and was outrun.
