Chart notes

MASKEDANDMUMMED stalked the leader two wide into the far turn, took aim same two wide placing leaving the furlong marker, battled outside TRUTH AND JUSTICE through the final sixteenth, determined drive up under the wire. TRUTH AND JUSTICE became fractious in the post parade, settled down going to the gate, broke sharp set the pace inside around the turn, fought on bravely inside MASKEDANDMUMMED conceded grudgingly at the wire. EDY'S FLAME tracked the pace inside into the far turn, put to task along the rail leaving the quarter pole, chased on willingly for the show. B'S WILD CANDY settled off the pace three wide into the far turn, bid five wide from the furlong marker, improved position through the stretch. ORANGE CANYON rated off the pace four wide down the backside, bid three wide leaving the quarter pole, had no punch late. NAPULE away in good shape, tracked the leaders three wide down the back stretch, under pressure from the quarter pole, weakened through the lane. DEFIANT SPIRIT hesitated at the start, lacked speed into the far turn, never factored late.
