Chart notes
FLYOVER was closest in pursuit of the lone leader, saved ground around the bend, tipped out at the top of the stretch, chased determinedly into deep stretch, then dug in late to overhaul the runner-up. BALLYVAUGHAN GIG sent clear quickly, led along the inside around the bend, roused at the top of the lane, put to right-handed urging midstretch, remained clear over FLYOVER into deep stretch, confronted by that rival shortly after and could not hold on. AFTERNOON NAP tracked out of range from inside, shifted to the two path nearing the stretch, failed to produce a bid but was able to hold third. TIGERHON (FR) unhurried from outside, moved into the two path for the turn, showed a mild response in the lane and improved position. RE ARMED JON chased two wide into the turn, ridden along three wide leaving the bend and failed to respond. PROOF HE RIDES raced off the pace up the backstretch, took the turn two then three wide, angled out into the lane and lacked a rally. SHADY TIGER traveled near the back on the inside, saved ground to the stretch and could not make an impact.
