ZANY sent to contest the early pace, engaged with ONCE AND FLORAL and dueled outside of that rival heading to the turn, shook free at the quarter marker then drove clear to upper stretch, drew off into the final furlong and was ridden out late to win as much the best. CLEAN WINNER raced close up to the early pace, tracked outside of rivals heading to the half-mile pole, chased three wide into the turn, ran in pursuit of ZANY into the stretch, was no match late for the winner and was a clear second best. ONCE AND FLORAL sent to vie for the early lead, was engaged by ZANY and dueled for pace duties inside of that runner heading to the turn, pressed into the bend then was turned away nearing the quarter marker, ran in pursuit from the inside into the stretch, could not match strides with the top pair late and was a clear third. WILLY NILLY tracked the early pace from between rivals, lost position into the turn, could not find more into the stretch and gave way. AMASIA got squeezed a bit at the start and was off slowly, tracked the contested early pace from the inside, could not keep pace nearing the quarter marker then did not factor in the stretch drive.
