Chart notes
JOHNSON pressed the pace, forwardly placed throughout and drove clear before the wire. COME ON MULITCH went to the front, drove clear, saved ground, but proved no match late for the winner. CHARBON raced near the back in the beginning, moved up, racing within striking distance and was outfinished for second. NORTH OF BALI lacked early speed, had an outside trip, made a mild bid, but was no real factor. DEFTLY DONE raced evenly near the middle of the field, moved up and finished evenly. QUATERNION raced in the middle of the pack, weakened and was no threat late. CRUE'S N CONTROL void of early speed, saved ground around the final turn and was never close. PORCHES raced within contention, saved ground around the final turn and dropped back. PEYTON'S DAY pressed the early pace, retreated and was done. THE JOCKEY OF #1 DEFTLY DONE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST #9 NORTH OF BALI FOR INTERFERENCE DOWN THE HOME STRETCH. AFTER VIEWING REPLAYS STEWARDS TOOK NO ACTION.
