Chart notes
AMERICAN CITY went to the front, lost the lead, raced forward throughout and proved the best late. UNCLE REG challenged for the early lead, took command, drove clear around the final turn, couldn't match strides with the winner down the stretch, but held on for second. TIME TO PARTY pressed the pace, raced close throughout and was outfinished for second. BAYOU JAM lacked early speed, came around the final turn on the outside, made a wide gain and finished willingly. TAPPIN FORA DANCE raced within contention, weakened and finished evenly. SHORTLIST raced in the back in the pack in the beginning and passed tired ones late. MOSQUITO FLEET lacked early speed and was never close. CLASSIC BET pressed the early pace and dropped back. SAM'S PROMISE lacked early speed, raced outside around the first turn and was outrun.
