Chart notes
MERRY MADISON tracked inside, waited around the turn before receiving a right handed cue passing the quarter, kicked on to bid in tight along the rail entering the final furlong, and inched ahead in the final strides. MIMI'S GRACE broke out at the start, chased in the three path, ranged up under a ride to bid passing the quarter, ran on to lead entering the final furlong, but got edged out by an inner foe in the final strides. CHASING GLORY set the pace in the two path, was cued midway around the turn, dug in gamely between foes into the final furlong, but yielded in the final sixteenth. RISKY WAVE laid in range in the two path, lost ground around the far turn, and continued to fade from the five path down the lane. BABY AVERY stalked in the three path, waited around the turn, but gave way from the four path down the lane. HAMPTON'S AFFAIR had a slow start, rated along the inside, was roused passing the three-eighths pole, but weakened. BEA TRIX trailed throughout from the three to five paths.
