Chart notes
DUKE DE VERE went to the front, drove clear, pulled away and won handily. UNLAWFUL pressed the pace, raced close throughout, proved no match for the winner, but held on for second. AHOOGA raced within striking distance, saved ground around the final turn and was outfinished for show. DUKE OF ORLEANS void of early speed, showed late interest, but was no factor. CAPTAIN BLOOD raced evenly near the back and was never a threat. IN THE GRAY raced near the back, came around the first turn on the outside and was never close. FAST CONNECTION showed early speed and dropped back. DULCE LOREFICHE always raced near the back and was outrun.
