Chart notes

LONG ASTRIDE stalked the tepid pace three wide around the first two turns, upped the tempo two wide from the quarter pole, went clear turning into the lane, kicked away under steady guidance. SACKETT tracked off the pace three and four wide, chased four wide into the lane, finished willingly for the place. BLOOD BROTHER set a leisurely pace along the rail around the first two bends, unable to quicken with outside rival leaving the quarter pole, chased on evenly had enough left for the show. CUCHULAIN settled off the pace and off the rail, moved inside down the back stretch, angled out five deep turning into the lane, needed more for the final spot on the podium. TOBI WAN KENOBI saved ground off the pace, never factored through the stretch. ORANGE JUICE urged along between leaving the club house turn, steadily retreated from the quarter pole.
