Chart notes
EXPRESS KID was rank leaving the gate then was inside on the backstretch, saved ground on the far turn and rallied two wide in upper stretch, dug in strongly and was up in the final strides. TRULY UNBELIEVABLE was taken back on the first turn when squeezed then stalked the pace while three wide on the backstretch, rallied and was in a long drive in the stretch but was out finished in the final stride in a game effort. ESSENTIAL TIME was unhurried early on then raced two wide into the far turn, was inside in late stretch to be gaining ground but was no menace. SAV'N MONEY was unhurried early while inside on the backstretch, rallied and swung out to be six wide in upper stretch and made a mild gain. WALTER THE MASON set a pressured pace while inside, was in a long drive but weakened in late stretch. CANNED HEAT was allowed to settled and raced four wide on the backstretch then failed to menace. INDY ROAD pressed the pace while two wide on the backstretch, made a bid then faltered in the stretch drive. WAR SPIRIT was allowed to settled then failed to menace. A claim of foul was lodged. After reviewing the film's, no action was taken.
