MIA MITOLE had a good position watching the pacesetter on the first turn just off the rail, inched closer down the backstretch outside, bid for the lead at the three furlong pole to take control while in the two path between foes with a quarter mile still to run and gave way between runners three wide by the furlong marker. TALLAWAH was bumped inside by the troubled rival on the break, cleared from the outer post to take this field on the rail through the first turn, continued on unopposed down the backside, was collared outside at the three eighths pole, fought on inside through the far turn and faltered in the two path between horses by upper stretch.
