Chart notes

KING'S LEAP broke out at the start bumping TOGA DAN into CONCORDE SPIRIT, showed the way in hand just off the inside through to midway down the backstretch when tucking to the inside, remained on the rail under increasing pressure through the turn and came under coaxing with five-sixteenths to go, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, dug in dueling through the length of the stretch getting headed for the front with three-sixteenths to go, gamely fought on coming back to take narrow command inside the sixteenth marker and got the nod on the wire. CONCORDE SPIRIT got bumped at the start by TOGA DAN due to pressure from the aforementioned foe, raced forwardly placed three wide through the first turn, prompted the leader from the outside three then two wide coming under urging at the five-sixteenths when intensifying the pressure, went three wide into upper stretch, took command at the three-sixteenths and battled head to head through the length of the stretch in game fashion, got headed for the front narrowly inside the sixteenth pole and lost the bob on the line. SENEGAL tossed his head at the break and was away last, raced three wide through the first turn, chased four then three wide under a ride from the half mile pole, angled six to seven wide at the head of the stretch and weakened. RESILIENT HERO coaxed from the gate, raced four wide through the first turn, chased five then four wide down the backstretch before heading three wide through the second turn, tipped five wide into upper stretch and tired. TOGA DAN got bumped at the start by the breaking outwards KING'S LEAP and in turn bumped CONCORDE SPIRIT, chased three then two wide until tucked inside put to urging half a mile from home, continued in the inside route into upper stretch and tired.
