BELIEVE IN MAGIC showed speed then chased the pace, vied in the two to three path on the turn, battled outside of BEACH HEIST under a drive in upper stretch, brushed with that foe while getting a narrow lead near the eighth-pole, led into the final sixteenth but was caught while just able to get the place. BEACH HEIST went to the front then showed the way, vied inside to the two path on the turn, battled with the runner-up under a drive in upper stretch, drifted out approaching the furlong marker then brushed with that foe and lost the advantage, fought on well to the finish and just missed the place but was clear for the show. HARK THEANGELSSING was ridden along on the outside then moved in, went around the turn in the two path, chased under a drive into the final furlong, moved out just inside the sixteenth-pole and lacked the needed kick while up for the last spot in the superfecta. SWEET MONTREAL was urged along off the pace, saved ground on the turn, moved out outside the furlong marker, angled in outside the sixteenth-pole and finished willingly to just miss the superfecta. LIT SHIP settled under some urging, went around the turn in the three then four path, turned into the stretch in the six path and lacked the needed response. VELCAMP broke through the front of the gate prior to the start then was brought back around and reloaded, came outward at the start, was urged along towards the rear, raced inside to the two path on the turn and was no factor. SHOULD'VE bumped with a foe at the start, was well placed just off the pace, saved ground on the turn, chased under a drive into the final furlong, was taken in hand near the sixteenth-pole and faltered. CATALONIA chased the pace on the outside, rounded the turn in the three then four path and tired. YAUDACITY broke through the front of the gate prior to the start then was brought back around and reloaded, broke out and hit the gate, raced in the two path on the turn, spun into the stretch in the three path and was no factor. SILICIUM (FR) was off a step slow then ducked out, spotted the front several lengths, angled in at the rear, went around the turn in the two then three path, came out into upper stretch and also was no factor.
