KUPUNA raced off the pace inside, was ridden along the rail around the far turn, angled out to the four path passing the eighth pole, and rallied to get up in the final strides. NORTHERN INVADER rated in the two path, was roused midway around the far turn, ran on in the three path down the stretch, and edged out place late. EPIC RIDE set the pace inside, was coaxed midway around the far turn, dug in gamely from the two path down the lane, but got edged out by an outer pair in the final sixteenth. STRONG QUALITY tracked inside, was cued midway around the far turn, but flattened in the stretch. EMMANUEL trailed in the two path, was coaxed along around the far turn, but made no impact in the five path down the stretch. PAROS stalked in the two path but faded in the stretch.
