Chart notes
DRILL'S BOY was gunned to the front to set an unchallenged pace and moved to the inside, well handled throughout and kicked away leaving the far turn and then remained clear to the wire to prove best while being kept to pressure. VECCHI was rated along three to four wide and came four wide off the bend and closed well but had to settle for second best. REDDEN tracked the winner two to three wide and inched clear nearing the quarter pole and came three to four wide off the bend but flattened out while besting the rest. SEEKING FREEDOM broke outwardly and bumped a rival at the break, reserved early and was four wide entering the far turn and checked nearing the seven sixteenths marker, came seven wide off the bend and had a late rally for the minor rewards. DOUBLE AGENT was settled early two to three wide, fell back by the half mile marker and was four wide by the quarter pole, angled out in the lane and passed the tiring rivals. SMOOCHER was settled back early, advanced on the outside and was five wide on the far turn and came six wide into the lane and had no rally. JIM'S RIVER RUNNER was squeezed back at the break and then saved ground throughout but lacked a solid rally. KENNEDY'S CAMELOT was bumped at the break and failed to menace. HARSH TRUTH was six wide into the first turn and settled on the outside and dropped back nearing the half mile marker and moved to the inside on the far turn while tiring.
