Chart notes
WEIGH THE RISKS broke out at the start, settled on the far outside, stalked the leader in the four path for most of the turn then crept towards the five path, made a bid while asked outside the quarter-pole, took the advantage while remaining on her inside lead in upper stretch, swapped to the proper lead near the furlong marker and held under strong urging. PATRICIA ANN followed the leader down the backstretch, chased in the three path on the turn, made a bid outside the five-sixteenths pole, took the lead coming to the quarter-pole, lost the advantage to the winner in upper stretch, drifted out near the sixteenth-pole and was outfinished while able to hold the place. SCALABLE showed no speed and dropped well behind under urging, moved from the three path to the rail early on the turn, angled out while finding her best stride in the stretch and finished with good energy but missed the place while well clear for the show. NIC'S STYLE was urged along on the inside, dropped back leaving the backstretch, moved from the rail to the two path on the turn, was driven into upper stretch in the four path and lacked the needed kick. ST. BENEDICTS PREP was urged along off the pace, dropped back leaving the backstretch, went around the turn in the two then three path, turned into upper stretch in the five path and came up empty. TALIESIN was hustled from the gate, settled under some urging, came under strong encouragement in the three then four path on the turn, spun into upper stretch in the six path and failed to respond. VOLLEYBALLPRINCESS went to the front then showed the way with a clear advantage, dropped from the two path to the inside early on the turn, lost the advantage approaching the quarter-pole and tired.
