Chart notes
RIPPED was the first out of the gate but opted to press the pace from the two path, moved up to vie for command through the turn, took charge at the three sixteenths and kept on through the wire. ROTHKO tracked the early pace three wide, closed some distance in the far turn to be in range of the leader down the stretch, ran on but was kept at bay. VALIANT HUMOR settled back after the start to be the early trailer, gained a position in the turn before taking towards the four path of the stretch to pick off one more rival. MIZZOU claimed the lead along the inside shortly after the start to set a pressured pace, vied for command in the turn but ultimately gave way at the three sixteenths and retreated. DISCOTHEQUE was rated on the inside behind the pace, began a slow retreat in the turn to trail entering the final quarter.
