Chart notes
ON THE LEVEL was bumped between horses at the start, prompted three deep, forged an advantage nearing the three furlong pole, led between rivals while well in hand turning for home, responded when set down in upper stretch and held well. TERRAPIN STATION leaned inwardly leaving the gate, prompted along the inside, but checked and shuffled back into the turn, recovered off of the pace around the bend, re-rallied up the rail to edge place at the sixteenth pole but was kept at bay thereafter. THE WARDEN bumped with an inner foe at the start, tracked four wide, advanced to press the new leader at the three furlong pole, offered a bid turning for home, but was turned away in midstretch and yielded place to an inner bidder. MITTY'S GRIDDY leaned out and bumped a foe at the start, led narrowly two wide and between horses, got headed by his outer counterpart after his inner rival gave way into the turn, sustained vying position inside of a pair turning for home, but gradually yielded between horses in the final furlong and lasted for fourth. GOOD LORD was bumped between horses at the start, raced off of the pace in the three path, shifted out to the six path in upper stretch and offered a mild kick to miss fourth. BOURBON'S FAULT broke a step slow, tracked from the two path, chased between horses around the bend and failed to menace.
