WINNING PATRIOT led under pressure along the inside, cleared on the backstretch, coaxed along on the far turn still next to the fence, remained clear under left handed urging into deep stretch, switched to the right hand late and held safely. KING OF DRAGONS pulled the rider along early then settled in the two path, gained along the rail on the far turn before swinging four wide approaching the stretch, finished well to gain second but could not reach the winner. KNOWN IDEA traveled outside a rival in mid-pack, chased three wide turning for home, finished well through the lane but got outkicked by KING OF DRAGONS for second. LEFT HAND MAN tracked from inside, drew closer leaving the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and flattened out in the furlong grounds. GRAZED taken back early, moved into the two path then found the rail on the clubhouse turn, stayed on the fence on the far turn as well, steered out and was roused entering the lane, then passed tired rivals in the stretch run. CARDIFF CRACK got bumped and put in tight by JACK FISH shortly after the start, moved to the inside trailing the field, coaxed along up the backstretch, remained last next to the fence on the far turn, moved out in the lane and also passed tired rivals. STOLEN TREASURE prompted the pace from outside early, lost touch with the leader and stalked up the backstretch, came under a ride in the two path on the far turn and weakened in the lane. MAV MAN raced in mid-pack on the inside, crept closer on the far turn but weakened in the stretch. JACK FISH shifted in and bumped CARDIFF CRACK early, tracked the speed outside a rival, drew closer leaving the backstretch, ridden along two wide into the stretch and faded.
