Chart notes
AXTON bumped with the horses to either side at the start, recovered to duel on the inside up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and dug in gamely in the lane to just hold the win. BAROSSA chased the leader on the inside early, saved ground around the turn and dug in gamely in the stretch to just miss. DENNARD raced in the middle of the pack up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and improved position in the lane. SANGER stalked the pace setter on outside through the opening quarter, navigated the bend from the three path and was outkicked in the stretch. MAGICAL MARK chased the leader between horses up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and faded from there. THREE MARTINIS bumped with the horses to his inside leaving the gate, raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the turn and made no bid. ALGEBRA bumped with the horses to his outside leaving the gate, raced off the pace on the rail up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and was empty in the lane.
