Chart notes
PLAYING FIELD chased the leaders between horses up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and kicked clear in the stretch. INDY'S SONG pressed the pace between horses early, came around the turn in the two path, raced into traffic and bumped lightly with a tiring rival in the stretch and chased on from there. CERVEZA raced off the pace through the opening stages, came around the bend in the four path and improved position on the outside in late stretch. CLUE led the way on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and weakened while drifting out in the lane, bumping with several horses in the process. HOLD ME ONLY tracked the leader on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path, was bumped by a tiring rival near the eighth pole and was outkicked in the final furlong. STORM BAYOU raced off the pace on the inside early, saved ground around the turn and was empty from there. ATTILA'S BOY raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the turn and made no bid. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS MADE INTO THE STRETCH RUN. UPON REVIEW, NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
