Chart notes
FIVE O' SOMEWHERE pressed the early pace from the two path, moved up to duel with TOP GUN TOMMY in the upper parts of the stretch, began to pull away in the final furlong, held off rallying foe. HONKY TONK HIGHWAY settled not too far behind the pace on the inside, attempted to rally along the inside after exiting the turn but ran out of racing room and forced to angle out three wide at the furlong marker, found best stride late to improve for the place award. TOP GUN TOMMY set a pressured pace from the inside, was challenged to duel by rival after entering the upper stretch, gave way in the final furlong and weakened to third. GILDED RULER raced off the pace in the two path, picked off rival at the three sixteenths then flattened out. HOCUS had an awkward start leaving the gate, trailed for most, passed tiring rival late in the stretch. SCOTTY'S ON EDGE tracked the pace four wide, faded in the stretch to be last to cross.
