Chart notes
MAKABIM was reserved early on the outside, made a five wide move on the far turn and took over leaving the turn and was clear by the furlong marker, moved to the inside in the furlong grounds while widening the margin while being ridden out. STATELY ORDER was allowed to settle early three to two wide, advanced two wide and made a inside bid by the quarter pole, then continued on willingly to be clearly second best. ARTISTIC REASON was rated along early on the inside, moved out to stalk the leaders three wide down the backside, made a three wide bid leaving the five sixteenths and gained a short lead nearing the quarter pole but weakened in the final furlong. BOLD HOPPERTUNITY dueled for the lead and made a two wide bid to gain a short lead before being engaged from the outside and dueled for command again to the quarter pole but weakened in the drive, bested rest. CHECKITUP passed the tiring rivals. SPINNING MUSICIAN was four wide into the first turn and tracked the pace on the outside and remained four wide throughout and tired. TONY SMALL was settled along the inside and tired. FERRARI KID dueled for the lead on the inside and gave way by the five sixteenths.
