Chart notes
HOPE'S ALIVE set the pace while clear on the first turn and in the two path, dropped to the inside on the far turn and then had to dig in by the furlong marker and held well to prove best under a drive. SOLAR GLARE broke outwardly at the start and was four wide on the first turn and settled on the outside down the backside, made a three wide move by the quarter pole and made a three wide bid to the furlong marker and loomed boldly, drifted out a tad under left handed crop and then switched to right handed by the sixteenth marker and was corrected but hung and had to settle for second best. MAJOR MISCHIEF chased the pace three wide and made a two wide bid nearing the quarter pole, lugged in by the three sixteenth marker and flattened out. MAX BARLEY broke in at the start, reserved early and saved ground on the far turn and had a belated rally on the inside for the minor rewards. AWESOME HARRY was settled back early, advanced two to three wide on the far turn and came five wide into the lane but flattened out. ANNIHILATE 'EM chased the pace along the inside and then moved out to the two path down the backside but weakened.
