Chart notes
SOCIAL HOUR forwardly placed from the gate, knocked heads on the front under a firm hold six paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking three wide into the turn, got set down spinning four wide into upper stretch, took over sole command at the three-sixteenths, edged away to inside the eighth pole, then dug in and held safe to prevail. COMPLEX MUSIC four then three wide in pursuit, got coaxed along with five-sixteenths to go, tipped five wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick to secure the place honors. FREE DANCE broke out a step at the start bumping PANAGIOTIS, chased along the inside down the backstretch and then two to three wide through the turn coming under urging three furlongs out, went seven wide at the head of the stretch, offered up a mild bid. AERO STAR struck the near side stall at the start and broke forward despite it, showed the way briefly before being engaged in head to head combat near the nine-sixteenths marker, dueled in hand three then two wide, continued just off the inside at the quarter pole before straightened away closer to the rail, got headed for the front near the three-sixteenths pole and kept on through to the finish. CAPT JAX PARROW coaxed from the gate, chased just off the inside coming under a ride nearing the quarter pole, spun three wide into upper stretch, stayed on one paced to the end. PANAGIOTIS got bumped lightly at the start by FREE DANCE, who broke out a step, chased five then four wide under encouragement from the five-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, weakened.
