Chart notes
GINGER ZIP settled inside mid-division, moved out advancing four wide past the quarter pole, took over in upper stretch, edged just clear near the sixteenth pole under steady urging and held. MEW N ME settled off the pace, swung five to six wide leaving the turn, kept on to get up for second and was gaining on the leader but too late. CAIRO GIRL chased from outside, was three wide at the quarter pole advancing, made a mild bid in upper stretch, evened out and lost place in late stretch. GOLDEN SUNSET settled last but one while lacking early speed racing just off the rail, came out four wide for the drive and ran on. REALLY BIG SHOW was a bit hard to load, broke a step slowly, brought up the rear lacking early speed, came out five wide in the stretch and passed tired rivals. TIZ READY got away well going straight to the front, moved clear up the backstretch dictating terms, weakened when headed in upper stretch and dropped back. ALPHA GAMMA GIRL was forwardly-placed inside, chased in behind the leader, weakened in upper stretch, altered out off the inside near the furlong marker.
