Chart notes
CLASSIC AMERICAN vied three wide outside foes then edged clear into the turn, set a rated pace two wide past the five sixteenths, spurted away under a drive in mid stretch then was fully extended to prevail. MINEDANDREFINED prompted the pace to the inside of the winner, rated back off that one into the turn then tracked inside a rival, edged closer nearing the quarter pole, altered out for a clear run nearing mid stretch and closed gamely. MY LITTLE LADY angled out early then made a three wide run to get in range near the three eighths, chased outside a rival while four wide in upper stretch, remained on her left lead and faded. SHANGHAI BARBIE broke in a tangle when a bit rank, checked sharply, dropped far off the pace, saved ground into the lane and had belated action. LOTSA STEEL drafted back off the pace, was under a ride off the rail mid turn and failed to get involved. ILA VEIW TOO flashed speed between foes, failed to go on with the leaders into the turn, wandered out and tired. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
