HUGGY well placed behind the dueling leaders, lugged in after taking the lead in the stretch crowding rivals and edged away. LEX vied outside, steadied in tight near the eighth pole, angled out and continued well. QUIET APPEAL dueled along the rail to the stretch, steadied in tight near mid-stretch and faded. REELIN N DEALIN trailed early then narrowed the gap without menacing. CENTAUR CENTRAL lacked speed outside and lacked a rally. The stewards posted an inquiry into the stretch run of the race. The second finisher lodged a claim of foul against the first finisher for stretch interference and the third finisher claimed foul against the first two finishers. The stewards subsequently placed the first finisher third for interference with pair of rivals.
