FORTY SEVEN chased the leader up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path and dug in gamely in the lane to just hold the win. LORD CHATHAM bumped with the horse to his inside at the break, recovered to duel on the inside up the backstretch, continued to battle from the two path around the bend and dug in gamely in the lane to just miss. BEERS ON ME veered out and bumped with the horses to his outside leaving the gate, recovered to duel from the rail through the opening quarter, continued to battle while saving ground around the turn and chased on late. SEVEN RAGS raced in the middle of the pack early, navigated the bend from the two path and showed no kick. CHARMING SMILE bumped with the horses to either side at the start, settled in the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, came around the turn in the four path and was outkicked in the lane. SLAPPY raced off the pace up the backstretch, continued around the bend in the three path and was empty in the stretch. MY REMBRANDT trailed the field throughout, came around the turn in the four path and was never a factor.
