Chart notes
GUAPONESS raced in closest pursuit of the pacesetter, took over on the final turn then lasted while kept to his task. STURDY broke step slowly and dropped back, moved very wide in the stretch and closed strongly. NIXON JOY (ARG) lagged far behind then finished wide with good late energy. PRINCE COLTON set clear pace for half mile, was hooked on the final turn and tired. MISSOURI RIVER settled close up inside, angled out on the final turn and flattened out. HOULTON four wide on the first turn, moved closer before the half then faltered. SILENT MODE was urged close up three wide to the final turn and gave way.
