Chart notes
CRISIS MANAGER showed the way in the three to two path into the backstretch, met an outer challenge turning for home, brushed with that one while getting headed entering upper stretch, yet fought on gamely to duel into midstretch, inched an advantage once more at the furlong grounds and shook clear with a sixteenth to go. PUBLISHER brushed with an inner foe leaving the gate, tracked two wide and between horses early on, tipped to the four path to take aim outside of the embattled leading pair in upper stretch, then ran on willingly to edge place in the final sixteenth. UP COUNTRY prompted along the inside before moving out to stalk from the three path nearing the backstretch, bid outside of the leader rounding the far turn, forged a narrow advantage while brushing with that one in upper stretch, dueled through midstretch, but was repelled in the final furlong and yielded place late. CHOWSER trailed in the three path while tugging keenly behind foes around the first turn, settled into stride before taking the far turn in the two path, shifted out to the four, then six, path in upper stretch and improved position to reach fourth at the wire. MONEY MAN brushed with an outer foe at the start, stalked along the inside, chased the leaders in upper stretch then yielded. SIXTYSEVEN MUSTANG raced off of the pace four wide then tired. BESTBALL pursued from midpack in the three to four path into the backstretch, then weakened in the three path and between horses around the far turn and was eased through the lane.
