Chart notes
RISING INFLATION settled back to race off the pace between rivals, loomed along the inside of the far to be up to duel with the leader at the quarter, pulled away in the final furlong and held firm. NORAH G tracked the early pace three wide, moved up to press the pace through the far turn, took a brief command before being challenged to duel by inside foe at the quarter, gave way in the final furlong. CLEARLY A TEST opted to race not too far behind the pace, moved up to be immediately behind the pace through the far turn before making a four wide bid at the quarter but was held at bay. HIGHLY WICKED bobbled at the start, raced off the pace four wide, could not close any ground. PICKIN ANA GRINNIN rushed to the lead to show good early speed, ceded the lead in the far turn and retreated in the stretch. FOR HARPER trailed throughout, no factor.
