CUPID'S THUNDER dueled for the lead while two wide on the backstretch, was in a long sustained drive but weakened in late stretch and held the place. ASPIRING COMEDIAN was taken back at the start then saved ground on the backstretch and far turn, rallied inside in the stretch but was no menace in late stretch. SCHIFTY'S HALOID stalked the pace while four wide on the backstretch, made a bid on the far turn then faltered. PERP WALK was inside and saving ground on the far turn, made a bid two wide in the stretch but was no threat. A.
