Chart notes
ATARAH was with the pace early from between rivals then went up to press BLAME THE BANKER two wide by the half mile marker and on the far turn, made a four wide bid leaving the turn and bumped with HELEN'S REVENGE nearing the furlong marker while on even terms for command and then kicked clear by the sixteenth marker and remained clear to the wire to prove best. SAILAWAY was well rated along the inside and remained on the rail to the quarter pole and swung out six wide and finished well late gaining the place award on the wire. HELEN'S REVENGE prompted the pace from the outside and then stalked the leaders while three to four wide on the turn, made a five wide bid leaving the turn to go on even terms for command with the winner and bumping with that rival nearing the furlong marker but flattened out late while losing the place award on the wire. LOOKS FIRST was rank and hard to handle from the kick back down the backside, also hard to handle till finally settling down leaving the half mile marker and was two to three wide on the turn, swung out widest leaving the bend but offered no rally. BLAME THE BANKER set a pressured pace on the inside and came up empty the final quarter of a mile.
