Chart notes
ESCAPE HALL stalked the pace from the outside and was three wide on the turn, made a three to four wide bid by the quarter pole to gain command and drew clear to the furlong marker and then drew away under crop urging to prove much the best. SOCIABLY JOHNNY was allowed to settle early, three wide while climbing on the turn, came four wide off the turn and finished well to gain the place award late while no threat to the winner. WHISKEY RUNNER pressed the pace and was two wide on the turn, between rivals by the quarter pole and weakened while winning the battle for the show award. WINSTON D set a pressured pace along the inside and was headed and lost the lead nearing the quarter pole and weakened in the drive while being out-kicked late for the show award. WHISKEY STONES chased the early pace and was on the inside to the two path on the turn but weakened. TUSCAN THUNDER was off a step slow and raced towards the inside early while being outrun, then was in the two path on the turn and never threatened. RICHIES LOVE was off slowly and raced greenly while far back early, raced in the four to five wide path on the turn and never factored.
