Chart notes
B WEST , off the pace and three deep nearing the half, dropped back a bit and raced between foes heading to the quarter pole, swung out seven wide in upper stretch, leveled off under left handed asking past the three sixteenths, advanced outside rivals leaving mid stretch, sustained a determined run under pressure and just got up. EXCELLENT TIMING was nudged clear after a furlong, took to rating and set the pace two wide, opened up under a drive nearing mid stretch, kept on gamely but was edged on the line. PIT STOP MAN chased off the inside, shifted out five wide for the drive and closed steadily. FORWARD MOVE , off the pace two wide, angled out in upper stretch, edged up behind foes past mid stretch, was stalled in traffic soon after, regrouped and advanced between runners to bridge the gap. AMUSING MISCHIEF chased outside a rival, shifted in for the drive but came up empty in deep stretch. THE WOLFMAN pursued to the inside of AMUSING MISCHIEF, angled four wide for the drive, raced between runners near mid stretch, altered out late and came up empty. LADDIE DANCE broke a step slow then was steadied soon after, dropped inside and rushed up nearing the half, remained towards the inside but failed to generate a serious stretch kick. IRISH HERO showed speed then angled out after a furlong, chased three wide, stayed on willingly to mid stretch then faded.
