Chart notes
RANGER BATTALION was well rated early four wide, made a five wide move nearing the quarter pole, went on even terms by the furlong marker and drove clear to prove best. SIR KARTRITE set a pressured pace on the inside, then was headed and dueled while in the two path on the turn, repelled that rival bur was engaged quickly by the winner and was out-finished by that foe and stayed on for the place award to be second best. COFFEE TALK pressed the pace from the outside and made a four wide bid on the turn to duel for command by the five sixteenths marker, came four wide off the bend but faded in the final furlong while staying on for the show award. REMI'S MOON was settled along the inside early, then was two wide entering the turn and moved out to be four wide nearing the quarter pole, came five wide off the bend and moved out leaving the three sixteenths and improved late. GO IRISH brushed a bit with RED MILLER after the break then went up to track the leaders and was in between rivals on the turn while in the three path, came off the bend in contention but lacked the needed bid. DEREK'S LAW tracked the leaders from the inside and continued to save ground on the turn but weakened in the drive. RED MILLER brushed with a rival shortly after the break, moved to the outside to settled in the clear, raced four to five wide on the turn and came six wide off the bend but lacked a rally.
