Chart notes
MARJORAM broke slowly and was floated in at the start, brushed with an inner foe leaving the chute, quickly advanced between horses nearing the half mile pole, closed in swiftly in the two path around the turn, tipped to the five path to offer a bold challenge outside of the top pair entering the lane, forged an advantage in upper stretch and held sway from an inner persistent counterpart. KAYLA'S KOMET vied for the lead with an outer rival while remaining a path off of the inside around the turn, dueled as a wider rival offered a bid in upper stretch, got outkicked by that one coming to the final furlong, yet fought on doggedly thereafter. TOUCH OF MAGIC vied with an inner rival while taking the turn in the three path, sparred in the four path and between horses as an outer rival bid entering the lane, got outkicked nearing midstretch, yielded to the top pair in the final furlong and held show. AUNT SHERYL broke slowly and got floated in at the start, brushed an outer foe leaving the chute, trailed along the inside, railied along the rail and was denied reaching show late. JOKE MAKER broke inwardly, stalked the top pair from the three to four path, got outkicked by an inner foe entering the lane and gave way. NEVER SAID NO lacked speed in the two path and made little impact. MORE COFFEE chased briefly, but faltered with five furlongs to go, steadily weakened and was eased through the lane.
