GRAMMY GIRL tracked the pace while saving ground, moved through along the rail and under pressure into the lane, bid inside foes past the three sixteenths, emerged in a duel outside TAKETHEMONEYHONEY leaving the furlong grounds, kept on determinedly under left handed asks, gained a slim lead in deep stretch and grittily prevailed. TAKETHEMONEYHONEY stalked outside the winner, was coaxed along leaving the three eighths, shifted four wide and ranged up to engage the leader into the stretch, put a head in front past the three sixteenths, clung to advantage under a drive past the sixteenth marker, kept on gamely but just failed to hold. MISS HARRIETT sped clear in the opening sixteenth, set a rated pace off the rail, drifted out a path while called upon into the lane, failed to contain threats from both sides nearing the eighth pole and weakened. ST. BENEDICTS PREP , bumped at the start, dropped inside and lagged off the early pace, was under pressure mid turn, swung out soon into the stretch but failed to drum up a serious run. BAILINTIN , bumped at the break, was ridden along while in the clear, chased to the quarter pole and weakened.
