Chart notes
TACTICS bumped with an inner foe at the start, rated in the four path up the backstretch, was coaxed along around the far turn, swung from the five path into the lane, rallied outside of rivals, and got up in the final strides. TIZ THE GREAT stalked in the three path, took command around the far turn, drew away in the two path around the far turn, stayed on down the stretch, but began to tire and drifted out in the final sixteenth, and was nabbed by an outer foe at the wire. LINO'S FIRE raced in midpack in the four path, angled inside while under a ride midway around the far turn, kept on in the two path down the lane, but got herded out and had to steady late. LOVER BOY NESS pressed between foes in the two path, lost touch with an outer foe rounding the far turn, angled out to the four path at the top of the stretch, and finished evenly. PAID VACATION set the pace inside, lost the lead and got put to a drive entering the far turn, tipped out to the three path entering the lane, and was one paced. OUR HAM SANDWICH tracked in the two path, was driven in the three path around the far turn, but weakened in the five path down the stretch. HARD SWING rated inside, was driven around the far turn, but never menaced. MIDNIGHT TICKET chased in the two path but retreated. TURF TO DIRT bumped with an outer foe and steadied at the start, then trailed throughout. NO CHANGES WERE MADE AFTER AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF LINO'S FIRE AGAINST THE RIDER OF TIZ THE GREAT FOR INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH WAS DISALLOWED.
