CANDY BAR prompted the pace from outside, took over at the five-sixteenths pole, cleared with a quarter mile left to run, showed the way under right then left handed urging into deep stretch, came under threat from MISS ARTOIS and ETERNAL REIGN in the final strides and was able to hold on. MISS ARTOIS broke out and bumped SHE'S A JOKER, settled three deep near the back of the field, raced outside a rival up the backstretch, chased between runners at the quarter pole, tipped out into the lane, moved out further in upper stretch, flew late and missed while edging ETERNAL REIGN (IRE) for second. ETERNAL REIGN (IRE) broke in and bumped, stalked two wide between runners then outside a rival, driven three wide into the lane, was closest in pursuit into the last sixteenth, drew alongside CANDY BAR but could not by while getting nailed for second. AMBAYA got bumped from outside and took up when put in tight quarters at the start, pulled at the back next to the rail on the first turn, trailed around the second bend as well, passed a tired rival coming into the stretch, tipped out in upper stretch, angled to the inside in deep stretch while rallying and got up for a minor award. TEQUILAANDTHERAPY stalked along the rail to the five-sixteenths pole, tipped two wide at the quarter pole, chased within striking distance down the lane but finished evenly late. RUBY CANTU stalked outside a pair of rivals around the first turn, traveled in mid-pack outside a rival on the backstretch, chased between into the far turn in the two path, remained two wide to the stretch and could not produce a bid. MADONNA OF LORETO stepped to the front and led from the two path then along the rail under pressure, lost command at the five-sixteenths pole, yielded to the new leader with a quarter mile remaining and weakened in the furlong grounds. SHE'S A JOKER took contact from inner rival at the start, angled to the two path racing at the back, navigated the far turn three then four wide, kept on down the lane but needed to find more. THE MIZEN QUEEN (IRE) laid off the pace on the inside, tipped two wide approaching the stretch, moved out further in the lane and could not rally. MOTET got knocked into AMBAYA leaving the gate, sat off the pace in the two path, moved out three deep on the backstretch, dropped back on the far turn, trailed into the lane and passed a tired rival. SOURCE (GB) tracked from the fence just out of range in the opening stages, lost some ground on the far turn and tired in the lane.
