Chart notes
Z MARKS THE SPOT pressed the lace between horses up the backstretch, came around the turn in the three path, and dueled in the lane, drifting out late and just holding the win. SHEZA HAILSTORM chased the leaders up the backstretch, swung out to the five path to began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground while drifting in late to just miss. NEW MEXICO JEREMY stalked the leaders on the outside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path, raced into traffic and took up in late stretch but came on again from there. BRAZEN NOW led the way on the inside up the backstretch, dueled from the two path around the turn and gave way in the final furlong. MICKEYS GOLD raced in the middle of the pack through the early going, navigated the turn from the four path and made no bid. READS PET ZENON raced off the pace up the backstretch, saved ground around the bend and was empty in the stretch. DAN WHO trailed the field throughout, continued around the turn in the two path and was never a factor. BOTH THE TRAINER AND THE JOCKEY OF HORSE EIGHT NEW MEXICO JEREMY CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST HORSE THREE SHEZA HAILSTORM. A STEWARDS INQUIRY WAS ALSO MADE INTO LATE STRETCH. UPON REVIEW, NO CHANGES WERE MADE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
