Chart notes
ACTIS unhurried in the beginning, racing in the back, made a steady gain, came around the final turn on the outside, rallied down the home stretch and was going away at the end. NOT A LADY vied for the early advantage, forwardly placed throughout, proved no match for the winner, but was best of others. RITZAPHENA raced in the middle of the field, made a late bid, proved no match for the top two, but got by HURRICANE KATE for the show position. HURRICANE KATE dueled on the front end, drove clear, saved ground, lacked a late kick and was caught for third. MISS METOYER raced within contention, came around the final turn on the outside and faded. PIEDRA PRECIOSA lacked early speed and was never close. HOLD THE DRAMA always raced near the back and showed little. KONTIKI challenged on the front end in the beginning, dropped back and was eased to the wire.
